Just completed JLPT 3 on 7/12/2008. I am surprised that this year's paper is easier than last year, last last year and last last last year. I guess it would have been easier than last last last last year too if I had time to do it.. hahaha... anyway studied until wee hours in the morning the day before. 4.30am. No joke.. at my age, you don't pull this kind of stunt unless it's matter of life and death.
All in all, I was quite pleased with the outcome. I think I would definitely pass, maybe results not that good, but still a pass is better than a fail. Happily went back to Lion City and asked Secretary on the exam. She said,
" Didn't go, Overslept..."
I said " huh? repeat?"
She said "Didn't go. Overslept..."
I said, "Wha......sure..?"
She said " Ya lor, some more this is the second time already..."
Wha sai.... I thought this only happen in the movies. Back where I came from, the only acceptable reasons for not going to exam are:
- I got diarrhoea
- The car pancit
- I was kidnapped
- I thought the exam was tomorrow
- The dog bite me
To overslept for an exam?? Never... if it is so unimportant, might as well don't take right. By the way secretary is in level 2 together with me. Started class on 11/12/2008. Twice a week, 7.15pm to 9.45pm. Longer hours than the one I take in kampung. Teacher was great, but students sux, at least the noisy gang of 5 behind sux big time. Ah well, you can't have the best of everything..
